First British Columbia PNP Draw of 2024
On January 10, 2024, the initial draw of the year for the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) resulted in the issuance of over 372 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for general and targeted draws.
In the broad BC PNP draw, encompassing all profiles, a total of 110 invitations were extended, covering both the Express Entry and BC PNP Skills Immigration streams, along with the Entry Level and Semi-Skilled streams.
Comparatively, the cutoff score witnessed an increase of 4-5 points across all streams in the general draw, in contrast to the preceding similar invitation round on December 12, 2023.
Additionally, 113 ITAs were allocated to individuals possessing experience as early childhood educators’ assistants or instructors (NOC 42202).
Conversely, the new category-based draw for British Columbia saw only 74 applicants with expertise in 25 construction-related occupations being invited.
Furthermore, 75 profiles, showcasing experience in 39 healthcare-related occupations, were invited to apply for permanent residency in British Columbia.
