What Is Canada Express Entry Program?
Express entry is a program issued by Immigration, Refugees and citizenship Canada (IRCC) for skilled worker immigrants who want Canada permanent residency visa. This program is for immigration as a skilled worker. Basically, express entry is an electronic application management system used to select skilled workers for immigration in Canada. In this system, a minimum comprehensive ranking system score (CRS) is fixed for qualifying express entry draw. If your comprehensive ranking system score (CRS) is equal to or more than the fixed minimum comprehensive ranking system score (CRS), then you are considered as qualified. Candidates scoring less than the minimum comprehensive ranking system score (CRS) are considered to be not qualified for express entry. So if you want permanent residency in Canada, you need to qualify express entry first to proceed further. Based on their comprehensive ranking system score (CRS), ranks are given to each candidate in every express entry draw. After ranking, invitations to apply or ITAs are sent to candidates who qualified the express entry draw.
For prospective skilled foreign workers, the express entry will result in faster processing times. It will also make it easier for candidates to secure a job before they arrive, by facilitating matches with Canadian employers.
Types Of Express Entry Program Systems
Every year a lot of applications are sent for immigration to Canada as a permanent resident. Express entry manages those applications through the three programs mentioned below:

Each selection factor has its own maximum points. An applicant has to score minimum 67 points out of 100 in order to qualify for this program.
The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) is for all those people who are qualified in skilled trade and want to become a permanent resident in Canada. An applicant must meet the eligibility requirements in order to apply for this program.
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is an immigration category for Canada’s foreign workers who wish to become permanent residents. This is for all those immigrants who have skilled work experience in Canada.
