On November 30, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Express Entry draw issued 1,052 invitations for provincial nominations. This draw, dedicated to Express Entry candidates, marks the first one in over two months, with the previous one occurring on September 26, 2023.
In today’s OINP draw, Express Entry profiles with expertise in one of the 42 healthcare-related occupations fall under the Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP).
Candidates with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score ranging between 404 and 430 are either in the process of receiving or have already received invitations to claim provincial nominations from Ontario.
Since October 26, there has been no Express Entry draw conducted by the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The last IRCC draw on October 26, which focused on healthcare, invited 3,600 candidates with a CRS score of 431 or higher.
Considering the potential for candidates above the CRS score of 430 to receive direct invitations from IRCC, the OINP draw referenced the October 26 draw and extended invitations to candidates below that threshold.
While the IRCC’s Express Entry draw hiatus persists, the OINP took proactive measures by conducting a draw specifically targeting Express Entry profiles.
✅If you’ve been invited in today’s draw, you’ve got 45 days to submit a full application and accept provincial nominations.
✅After getting OINP approval, your Express Entry profile will score an extra 600 points, landing your Express Entry CRS score between 1,004 and 1,030.
