On March 7, 2024, Saskatchewan released 35 invitations through the Expression of Interest (EOI) process. Out of these, 14 invitations were extended to candidates eligible for the Occupations In-Demand pathway, while the remaining 21 were for individuals with profiles in the federal Express Entry system of Canada. All candidates, regardless of the pathway, needed to have a minimum score of EOI 89.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) operates within Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program. A Provincial Nomination (PNP) carries a value of 600 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) for an Express Entry candidate. Consequently, receiving a nomination from a province or territory guarantees an invitation to apply.
It is important to note that only individuals who have been specifically invited by the Canadian Government are permitted to submit their complete applications for a Canada Permanent Residency (PR) visa.
Who got an invitation in the latest Saskatchewan draw?
In order to qualify for the most recent draw, candidates needed to meet the following criteria:
1. Showed interest in being considered by Saskatchewan for a nomination.
2. Attained a minimum score of EOI 89 on the SINP EOI System.
3. Possessed an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) Report or received education in Canada.

Candidates selected with profiles in the Express Entry system were invited through Saskatchewan Express Entry. Those without Express Entry profiles were issued invitations through SINP’s Occupations in Demand pathway, which operates independently of the Canadian Express Entry system.
