Newest British Columbia PNP Draw in 2024

On February 6, the most recent draw for the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) saw over 213 invitations extended to apply for permanent residency. These invitations were issued through targeted rounds.

In a broader BC PNP draw, a total of 102 invites were sent out, encompassing both the Express Entry and BC PNP Skills Immigration streams. Specifically, 46 invitations were directed towards individuals with experience as early childhood educators’ assistants or instructors (NOC 42202).

Furthermore, the draw included a new category introduced in late 2023, where only 26 applicants with experience in 25 construction-related occupations were invited.

Additionally, 39 invitations were extended to profiles with experience in 39 healthcare-related occupations, allowing them to apply for permanent residency.

It’s worth noting that the cutoff score increased by 2 points across all streams in these draws, except for the Entry Level and Semi-Skilled stream, when compared to the previous similar round of invitations on January 23, 2023.

The upcoming draw for the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program in 2024 is set to be revealed on February 13. This draw is likely to focus on inviting individuals from various occupations, including early childhood educators, 35 tech roles, 25 positions in construction, and 39 healthcare professions.

BC typically holds draws every week on either Tuesday or Wednesday, alternating between general draws and specific ones for the tech and healthcare sectors.
