In the latest development, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has distributed 1,451 invitations for permanent residency across two newly conducted invitation rounds. Out of these, 630 invitations were extended through the OINP Foreign Worker stream to individuals with a job offer in one of the 63 specified skilled trade occupations (listed later in this article) and a score of 33 or above.
In another draw from the OINP Foreign Worker stream, 821 invitations were issued to profiles featuring a job offer in any of the 41 healthcare and 15 tech occupations (outlined later in this article), with a score of 40 or higher.
These scores showed a slight decrease compared to the previous OINP Foreign Worker Stream draws on December 5, 2023.
