On February 8, 2024, a total of 4,552 invitations for permanent residency (PR) were issued through three new draws conducted by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). These draws included both general and targeted rounds of invitations.
In the specific draw held under the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream of the OINP Express Entry, Ontario extended 2,118 invitations for provincial nominations.
This particular draw focused on Express Entry profiles associated with a primary occupation falling within the specified 15 tech occupations. Invitations were sent to candidates with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score ranging between 471 and 480.

Invitations were extended to Express Entry profiles meeting the specified criteria that were created between February 8, 2023, and February 8, 2024.
In a prior event on February 6, the Ontario Express Entry draw focused on health occupations within the HCP stream, resulting in 2,086 invitations being issued. For more details on the February 6 draw, click here.
Additionally, on February 8, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a general draw for Expression of Interest (EOI) under the International Student Stream, granting 1,182 invitations to apply for permanent residency (PR) in a comprehensive draw.
Invitations were extended to OINP EOI profiles with a score of 78 and above, meeting the eligibility criteria for the International Student Stream.
Additionally, The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted an Expression of Interest (EOI) draw specifically aimed at individuals in the Healthcare and Tech sectors under the International Student Stream. In this draw, 1,252 invitations were extended to applicants with a score of 73 or higher for Permanent Residency (PR).
