The latest round of invitations for the New Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) under the International Student Stream took place on March 12th, resulting in a total of 2,639 invitations for permanent residency being issued.

Of these, 1,306 invitations for permanent residency (PR) were extended through the general draw for international students to eligible profiles.

Individuals with OINP Expression of Interest (EOI) profiles meeting the criteria for the International Student Stream and achieving a score of 72 or higher have been invited to apply for permanent residency.

In a targeted EOI draw, 649 invitations for PR were sent out to profiles in 63 skilled trade occupations under the International Student Stream, with a minimum score requirement of 66.

Additionally, another targeted EOI draw focused on 41 healthcare and 15 tech occupations under the International Student Stream resulted in 684 invitations being issued to profiles scoring 72 and higher.

This follows a previous round on February 8th, where 2,434 invitations were granted under the OINP International Student Stream, including both general and targeted invitations for healthcare and tech occupations. For more comprehensive details, click here.
